LEVEL 1

New Zealand is at Alert Level 1

More information on what this means for sexual health

Sexual and reproductive health services including contraception are essential services, and continue to be available throughout the levels of COVID-19 restrictions.

Exactly what is available and where will vary slightly depending on where you live, and which level we are at.

Contact your local sexual health clinic, GP or Family Planning if you have any concerns or symptoms.

Following government advice on social distancing, frequent hand washing and limiting travel is important, and this includes completely avoiding casual sexual contact.

Sexual Health experts spoke to Radio New Zealand about sexual health and services, you can read about this here: https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/covid-19/415367/covid-19-confusion-causing-complications-for-std-sufferers
