Important Announcement from the Executive: 2020 Conference Postponed

It is with regret that The New Zealand Sexual Health Society has made the decision to postpone the 2020 conference due to take place on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2020 in Hamilton, due to the rapid developing situation with COVID-19.

The decision has not been made lightly, given the incredible amount of work that has gone into the organisation of what was shaping up to be an outstanding conference.

Our delegates and industry supporters are all working in environments with vulnerable people and supply chains, and as the situation develops our member health professionals and promoters, who are the key to care in hospital and community settings, will need to be available where they’re needed most.

The committee have explored several options and we have made the decision to postpone the conference until:

Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October 2021

We invite you to mark the date in your diaries.

NZSHS Executive is also considering how to support the sector’s ongoing learning and networking needs in other ways.

Continue to keep abreast of the any developments with regards to conference and further educational opportunities on the NZSHS website.

Thank you for your understanding.

Julia Scott, the NZSHS Executive Team and Jane Morgan, Conference Convenor
