Abortion Services in New Zealand is a website designed to provide information on the abortion services available in New Zealand.

Auckland Sexual Health Services provide free, expert and confidential sexual health care to people in the Auckland region. We welcome all transgender and gender diverse people who want to access gender-affirming healthcare. We will work with you to establish your transition-related health goals and provide support around an individualised health plan that may include accessing other specialist services

NZSHS is a member of the Australasian Sexual Health Alliance (ASHA)- a multi-disciplinary alliance of sexual health organisations, working together to improve national and local responses to sexual health issues. If you are a member of NZSHS you are automatically an affiliate of ASHA, and can receive updates and the ASHA Quarterly Newsletter.

Body Positive is a group founded by and run for people with HIV/AIDS. We welcome all people living with HIV and AIDS in New Zealand. Body Positive Inc breaks down isolation and builds a sense of community while advocating on behalf of HIV + people on a national level.

The Association includes medical practitioners, Nurses, Health Advisers, scientists in the field of medicine and other healthcare workers who have shown a commitment to the specialty, who have been duly elected Fellows, Members and Honorary Fellows. There are currently approximately 1,000 members of BASHH, making it the largest such organisation in the world. Members receive mailings which include information about BASHH and other meetings, courses and regular news from the board as well as a Newsletter.

Burnett Foundation Aotearoa (formerly New Zealand AIDS Foundation) has been at the forefront of the community response to HIV in Aotearoa for nearly 40 years. This organisation’s origins trace back to the early 1980s grassroots response started by brave volunteers who raised awareness of AIDS and support for those living with AIDS. A Kaupapa that grew into the AIDS Support Network, then became the New Zealand AIDS Foundation in 1985 - and then the Burnett Foundation Aotearoa in 2022.

For more than 70 years, we’ve put science into action to help children stay healthy so they can grow and learn; to help families, businesses, and communities fight disease and stay strong; and to protect the public’s health.

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa can help with contraception, STI testing and treatment, cervical screening, pregnancy testing, abortion advice, PMS, menopause, HPV vaccinations, and advice for other sexual and reproductive health issues including what to do if you've had unprotected sex. Our services are confidential and non-judgemental and for people of any age, gender, sexual orientation or nationality. If you are a New Zealand citizen or resident and under 22, your visit to Family Planning is free.

Human papillomaviruses (HPV) are extremely common viruses HPV is thought to be the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the world, and most people are infected with HPV at some time in their lives.

JUST THE FACTS is brought to you by the New Zealand Sexually Transmitted Infections Education Foundation (NZSTIEF) - an initiative funded by the Ministry of Health through collective District Health Boards to educate New Zealanders about STI’s.

The New Zealand Herpes Foundation aims to provide up-to-date information and non-judgmental support to people with genital herpes, support health and medical professionals with user-friendly educational material that will assist with the diagnosis, treatment and management of genital herpes. Educating the public about the prevalence, transmission and management of genital herpes and reducing the stigma and fear associated with this common infection.

Positive Women Inc. is a support organisation for Women and Families living with HIV and AIDS. We are also involved in HIV advocacy, awareness and destigmatisation. Women represent the invisible face of the HIV and AIDS epidemic. These are women who lead the very usual life of the average woman.

Rainbow Youth are about fostering safe, inclusive, accepting and diverse environments that are sober, family friendly spaces.
